On 17 January 2026, TIC Foundation successfully conducted a community service initiative in Khayelitsha and Khayelitsha Town 2. The initiative aimed to support learners by providing essential school resources to help them start the academic year prepared and confident.
TIC Foundation contributed the following items:
Total Amount Spent: R8,294.52
All items were purchased, packed, and distributed by Ashura, Mama Zainab, and Iman, ensuring efficient and direct support to the beneficiaries.
This initiative demonstrates TIC Foundation’s continued commitment to community upliftment and educational support. The provision of school shoes and stationery contributed positively to learner readiness and morale within the Khayelitsha communities.
With 11 diverse teams taking to the pitch and fans cheering passionately from the stands, the Spring Edition built on the success of the first Cape Clash.
This year brought even greater participation and excitement, uniting communities through shared experiences of sport, culture, and celebration.
The event showed how football bridges differences — across languages, backgrounds, and traditions — highlighting that diversity is South Africa’s greatest strength.
